Unser ganzes Leben ist von zahlreichen Dualitäten geprägt, die einander nicht nur bedingen und miteinander verknüpft sind, sondern in ihrer Dynamik auch einen essentiellen Teil unserer Wesenhaftigkeit ausmachen. Das Unsichtbare, Unausgesprochene bekommt einen Raum im Dazwischen und verbindet dabei beide Pole. BOUND erzählt von verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, innerhalb von Dualitätsmodellen Zugehörigkeit zu suchen und zu finden, in sich selbst und im Austausch mit anderen. Aber auch davon, Grenzen zu setzen und zu erkennen. Berührungen, haptisch und emotional, schaffen dabei durch unser Senden in die Welt eine (Ver)Bindung, stärken unser Gefühl von Sicherheit und Vertrauen. In Zeiten immer größer werdender Distanzierung erkennen wir die Bedeutung von Berührung als Basis für echte Bindung umso mehr.
Dasha Minkina fängt die komplexe Dynamik zwischen Nähe und Isolation auf eindrucksvolle Weise ein und reflektiert die existentielle Erfahrung des Menschen als soziales Wesen, das gleichzeitig auf sich selbst zurückgeworfen ist. Ihre künstlerisch stringente Reise auf der Suche nach Zugehörigkeit, der Rückkehr zu sich selbst und der Begegnung mit anderen, bis hin zur Frage nach dem höheren Sinn und der kritischen Reflexion über die Gesellschaft ist eine Reise der Entdeckung – und ein Versuch, in einer Welt der Unsicherheit und Fragmentierung wieder ein Gefühl von Verbundenheit zu finden.

Our entire lives are shaped by countless dualities – forces that not only depend on one another and intertwine, but whose dynamic interplay fundamentally shapes the very core of our human essence. The invisible and the unspoken find their place in the in-between, creating a bridge between opposing poles and giving form to what lies beneath the surface.
BOUND speaks to the many ways we seek and discover belonging within these systems of duality – within ourselves and in relation to others. It is also a narrative of boundaries: of setting them, of recognizing them, of knowing when to cross or uphold them.
Touch – both physical and emotional – becomes a language, a transmission into the world that forges connection, invites attachment, and cultivates intimacy. It anchors us in moments of vulnerability, strengthens our sense of safety, and renews our capacity to trust – ourselves, others, and the spaces in between. In an age increasingly defined by distance and fragmentation, we are reminded – more urgently than ever – of the essential role of touch as the foundation of meaningful human connection.Dasha Minkina captures the complex dynamic between closeness and isolation with striking sensitivity, reflecting on the existential condition of the human being as a social creature – forever in search of connection, yet constantly confronted with the solitude of the self. Her coherent artistic journey – tracing a path through the search for belonging, the return to oneself, and the encounter with the other – unfolds into deeper questions of meaning and a critical gaze toward the society we inhabit. It is a journey of discovery, and at the same time, a quiet yet resolute attempt to reclaim a sense of connectedness in a world shaped by uncertainty and fragmentation.
